The Lypertek PurePlay Z7 is a unique true wireless headset from a brand that is well-known for bringing the audiophile experience to the true wireless form factor. Sound quality on the Z7 headset is impressive, thanks to a triple-driver setup featuring two balanced armature drivers and a single dynamic driver in each earpiece. Battery life is decent, and the earphones are IPX5 rated for water resistance.
Although sound quality is very good, call quality and overall appeal and value for money fall short, since there is no active noise cancellation in this headset. There is, however, support for the aptX Adaptive Bluetooth codec, making these true wireless earphones well suited for use with Android smartphones.
