The Oppo Enco Air 2 has an outer-ear fit and a promise of good sound, but falls a bit short on the feature set. The earphones support the HeyMelody app for customisation of controls and more, but the lack of active noise cancellation means that the headset doesn't quite match up to competition in its price segment.
Sound quality is acceptable when it comes to detail and soundstage, but the sound felt a bit boomy and fatiguing. However, the earphones can get quite loud to counter the non-existent noise isolation, and could appeal to many buyers looking for strong bass and a commuter-friendly fit.
Looks good, comfortable fit
Good app, lots of customisation options
Good soundstage and detail
Very stable connectivity and call quality
No bundled charging cable
Average battery life
Boomy, inconsistent sonic signature
