The Sony WF-1000XM4 is the latest flagship true wireless headset from Sony, and has support for the LDAC Bluetooth codec, in addition to SBC and AAC. This gives the headset a considerable edge when it comes to sound quality with Android smartphones, and there are also other key flagship featuers such as active noise cancellation, speak-to-chat, quick attention, and app support.
The sound is typically consumer-centric, with strong bass and good detail levels. Active noise cancellation is very good in reducing wind noise, and is decent even with other urban sounds. This is a top pick for Android users, but iOS users will be better served by the AirPods Pro.
